Social Innovation call for proposals: actions to develop impact performance intelligence services

As part of the EaSI component of the ESF+, the Call for proposals is open: Social Innovation: actions to develop intelligence services on impact performance”, which expires on 4 July 2024.
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE NOTICE: is to promote the offer of advanced data capacity services, as well as impact management tools and practices for social purpose entities (such as - but not limited to - social enterprises, social economy entities , social start-ups, impact companies), to increase and improve their social impact investment capacity.
THE NOTICE AIMS TO DEVELOP: Innovative solutions for the social impact investment market, supporting projects regarding the conception, testing, pilot phase, validation, development and/or expansion of impact data verification services and intelligence on impact performance, as well as other knowledge-based innovation models, which could lead to more and better investment decisions, greater transparency of the social impact investment market and performance benchmarking.
THE ACTIVITIES THAT CAN BE FINANCED ARE INDICATIVELY THE FOLLOWING:
• Brainstorming SESSIONS: for the generation of ideas, market research to validate the feasibility of the idea, identification of business options and definition of the target customers and their needs
• DRAFTING AND PROCESSING OF BUSINESS PLAN: with value proposition
• ANALYSIS AND LEGAL ADVICE: relevant
• DEFINITION OF OPERATIONAL PROCESSES AND WORKFLOWS: identification and planning of necessary equipment and technology
• DEFINITION AND PROJECT ACTIVITIES ON THE PURPOSES OF THE SERVICE OR PRODUCT: description of the required characteristics and functionality, specification of the scope of the project, budget and timing
• RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES: including testing and prototyping activities
• SERVICE OR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES: through selecting the appropriate technology stack, writing back-end and front-end code, implementing features and functionality according to design specifications
• PILOTING ACTIVITIES: validation and testing of the service or product, including its development strategy
• PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION ACTIVITIES: of the launch of the service or product
• MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT ACTIVITIES OF THE SERVICE OR PRODUCT: definition of processes to address post-launch problems, updates and new features,
• DEVELOPMENT (DEFINITION AND IMPLEMENTATION) OF A COMPLETE MARKETING PLAN: identification of target marketing channels, formulation of brand development strategy and market positioning, sales strategy.

PROJECT PROPOSALS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY A CONSORTIUM MADE UP OF AT LEAST TWO ENTITIES ESTABLISHED IN TWO DIFFERENT ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES > WHICH ARE:
• A Research Center or an Institution affiliated with a University,
• A Public or Private Investor or a Business Support Organization (including incubators and accelerators).
THE EU CONTRIBUTION: can cover up to 85% of the project's eligible costs. The Maximum Grant Amount will be between €500,000 and €750,000.
THE TOTAL ALLOCATION AVAILABLE FOR THE NOTICE: is equal to €4,500,000, which will be allocated to the financing of 6-8 Projects.
