THE NOTICE: in the framework of the VI round of calls for proposals for Digital Europe, it concerns the specific Objective 2, which aims to strengthen the EU's capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI), as a crucial driver for the digital transformation of public and private sectors, and is connected to the implementation of the EU Data Strategy.

THE NOTICE INCLUDES 3 DIFFERENT TOPICS (a Project can concern only one topic and specific forms are prepared for each topic).

 THE TOPICS ARE THE FOLLOWING:

1. DATA SPACE FOR SKILLS (implementation) - ID: DIGITAL-2024-CLOUD-DATA-06-SKILLS

This Topic aims to create a secure and reliable common European skills data space for sharing and accessing skills data for various purposes, from analytical and statistical purposes to policy development or re-use in innovative online applications with European values.

TYPE OF GRANT: Simple grants - contribution: 50% of eligible costs

BUDGET: €3 million

 

2. DATA SPACE FOR MANIFATTURE (implementation) - ID: DIGITAL-2024-CLOUD-DATA-06-MANUFSPACE

This Topic aims to significantly increase the deployment and use of data space for manufacturing, reaching a critical mass of manufacturing industries that share industrial data and improve business operations and value chains between suppliers. Given the breadth of the manufacturing sector, the topic focuses on data spaces that address supply chain management. 

PROPOSALS MUST CONCERNING ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TWO CASES:

 • DATA-DRIVEN MODELS: for supply chain management and the role of data sharing in risk mitigation response, such as shortages of early warning predictive material.

• MANUFACTURING DATA SPACES THAT USE DATA: to drive the transition to a greener and more circular economy with greater business opportunities for value-added industrial services.

TYPE OF GRANT: Simple grants - contribution: 50% of eligible costs

BUDGET: €13 million

 

3. SUPPORT HEALTH DATA ACCESS BODIES (HDABs) TO PROMOTE EFFICIENT PATHWAYS FOR AI IN THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR - ID: DIGITAL-2024-CLOUD-DATA-06-HEALTHCARE-AI

As part of the broader AI ecosystem in healthcare, such as the Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEF) for AI and the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDH) this Topic aims to strengthen the role and capabilities of HDABs in streamlining experimentation and diffusion paths of AI solutions in the Healthcare Sector.

The goal is also to reduce time to market and promote the development of new AI-based healthcare products and services that improve patient safety and well-being, while preserving privacy and security.

TYPE OF GRANT: Support and coordination actions: 100% of eligible costs

BUDGET: €4 Million

SUBJECTS: eligible and the requirements of the proposing consortium are specific for each Topic.
