EUROfusion BERNARD BIGOT SCHOLARSHIPS 2025: APPLICATIONS OPEN
THE SCHOLARSHIPS: FOR RESEARCH - SUPPORT THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF A NEW GENERATION OF SCIENTISTS: who work in the field of Nuclear Fusion
APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN: for the 2025 EUROfusion Bernard Bigot Scholarships.
THE EUROfusion BERNARD BIGOT RESEARCH GRANTS: support the education and training of a new generation of scientists working in the field of nuclear fusion in line with the European Research Roadmap to the Realization of Fusion Energy. The scholarships are named after Dr. Bernard Bigot, former Director General of the ITER Organization from 2015 to 2022.
THE SCHOLARSHIPS WILL FINANCE: Individual postdoctoral research projects for 2 years, starting in 2025.
THE GRANT WILL CONTRIBUTE: to the salaries, research and training activities of up to 10 early career researchers.
CAN PARTICIPATE: Researchers and engineers of all nationalities holding a doctoral degree (PhD) who have completed their doctorate and defended their thesis in the two years preceding the application deadline.
THE APPLICANT: must be employed by a member of the EUROfusion Consortium or one of its affiliated bodies during the grant period.
INTERESTED CANDIDATES: will need to prepare the application jointly with one or more institutions affiliated with EUROfusion, who will submit the application and offer to employ the candidate for the proposed duration of the project.
THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS IS MAY 6, 2024.
