DIGITAL EUROPE: NOTICE ON ADVANCED DIGITAL SKILLS

THE NEW NOTICE OF THE DIGITAL EUROPE PROGRAM WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL MARCH 21 > DEDICATED TO THE THEME: Advanced Digital Skills, which benefits from a budget of 42 million euros
THE NOTICE INCLUDES THREE DISTINCT TOPICS (A PROJECT PROPOSAL CAN CONCERNS ONLY ONE TOPIC):
1. SPECIALIST EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN KEY AREAS (ID: DIGITAL-2023-SKILLS-05-SPECIALEDU)
THIS TOPIC SUPPORTS > THE PLANNING AND DELIVERY OF PROGRAMS: of higher education, such as three-year and master's degree courses leading to the achievement of a degree (at ISCED levels 6, 7 or equivalent) and develops the related permanent self-help modules learning (online, hybrid, or in-person) leading to a certification.
PROGRAMS MUST FALL INTO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES
TYPE 1: PROGRAMS TO DEVELOP ADVANCED DIGITAL SKILLS IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING KEY DIGITAL AREAS: AI, blockchain, cloud and/or edge computing, cybersecurity, data, extended reality, internet of things, microelectronics, photonics, quantum technologies, robotics .
TYPE 2: INTERDISCIPLINARY PROGRAMS: aimed at the acquisition of advanced digital skills in specific sectors, in particular: agriculture, energy, finance, health, law, media and culture, manufacturing, sustainable and autonomous mobility, space
TYPE 3: CONVERSION PROGRAMS: for students graduating from a degree course in non-ICT fields to access specialist master's programs in the key digital areas listed for type 1 programmes.
PARTNERSHIP REQUIRED: Projects must involve at least 6 entities from at least 5 different eligible states
BUDGET: 30 Million Euros
2. CYBERSECURITY SKILLS ACADEMY (ID: DIGITAL-2023-SKILLS-05-CYBERACADEMY)
THE PROPOSALS MUST CONCERNS ONE (ONLY ONE) OF THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
1. TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR Small and Medium Enterprises: Start-ups and Public Sector for the Cybersecurity Skills Academy
THE PROPOSALS REGARDING THIS ACTIVITY will: implement new training opportunities or expand existing successful ones, with particular attention to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (Small and Medium Enterprises) and Public Administrations in the IT security sector.
THE PROPOSED TRAINING: should consider the needs of businesses and in particular facilitate access to Cybersecurity Talent for Small and Medium Enterprises - start-ups in all sectors.
TO ENSURE THE HIGH LEVELS OF CYBERSECURITY NECESSARY FOR DIGITAL PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION: Training courses should provide upskilling, reskilling and interdisciplinary understanding of cybersecurity for public employees.
2. THE CYBERSECURITY SKILLS ACADEMY: SUPPORT OPERATIONS
THE PROPOSALS REGARDING THIS ACTIVITY: will support the operations of the Academy and its Governance
PARTNERSHIP REQUIRED: Projects must involve at least 3 bodies from at least 3 different eligible states (or an EDIC composed of at least 3 member states)
BUDGET: 10 Million Euros
3. SPECIALIST EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN KEY AREAS - ANALYSIS OF ADVANCED DIGITAL SKILLS (ID: DIGITAL-2023-SKILLS-05-SPECIAL-PROGEDU)
THIS ACTION WILL PROVIDE DETAILED INFORMATION ON THE DEMAND FOR ADVANCED DIGITAL SKILLS IN THE EU: by gathering input on existing education and training provision in the area of advanced digital skills and on how well current education and training provision matches the needs of the market current job and future market and will therefore allow us to indicate the priority areas for future funding programs in the sector of advanced digital skills and to provide indications on what type of education and training programs are most effective for developing them.
